Amber Heard would go to jail for false evidence against Johnny Depp

The legal battle between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard continues. After that the actress would ensure by 2018 that had been the victim of physical and verbal violence during their marriage, it seems that now it is she who could end up in prison.

According to el International Business Times, Heard could face a penalty of up to three years in prison for falsifying evidence against Depp. The interpreter stated that he had bruising in the eyes the night before they appear in The Late Late Show with James Corden in 2015.

However, the stylist of Amber HeardSamantha McMillen, stated that the actress had no injury. “During the day 16 December 2015 I could see clearly that Amber Heard had no visible marks, bruises, cuts, or lesions on the face or any other part of your body,” he said.

“The Penal Code of California declared that it is illegal to alter, amend, plant, place, conceal, fabricate, or move any physical evidence with the intent of making someone is accused of a crime,” notes the publication.

“The offering and preparing false evidence are considered serious offences and carry a maximum penalty of up to three years”, he adds.

For his part, Depp says he has heard that his ex-wife had been “painted bruises” to get a restraining order. Both started the divorce process in August of 2016, a procedure that was completed in January 2017.

However, in December 2018, Heard wrote an opinion article for the Washington Post in which he spoke of the abuse he allegedly suffered during her relationship with Depp. Shortly after the actor filed a lawsuit for defamation of 50 million million dollars against it.
