Pirates of the Caribbean 6 opens the door to Johnny Depp (Jack Sparrow)

Disney has already launched the sixth installment of Pirates of the Caribbean, in the beginning I was not going to have Johnny Depp. It seems, however, that the company would be rethinking, and the actor might return to play Jack Sparrow in the new film of the saga it would not be a direct sequel to the previous installments and would have told you, that yes, with a new central character.

According To The DisInsider, Pirates of the Caribbean 6 will be a reboot, similar to the spin-off Bumblebee in the saga Transformers. The new film will take place in the same universe but it will not be a direct continuation of the five tapes earlier led by Jack Sparrow.

Sparrow might be involved, I don’t know if that means that you will be a protagonist or make a cameoor it will just be a movie in the same universe,” wrote the journalist Skyler Schuler.

The publication already said above that the new film will be led by a female character, that will give life Karen Gillan, one of the protagonists of the sequels to Jumanji and the actress who gives life to Gamora in the Movie Universe Marvel.

Disney laid off Depp in 2018 after his ex-wife, Amber Heard, accused him of gender-based violence. However, his legal battle has taken a turn of 180 degrees after the emergence of a few audios where it is alleged that it has been proved that the actress assaulted by the interpreter. In the last days, and in the wake of this news, fans of Depp have taken the social networks to demand the return of the star to the franchise under the hashtag #NoJohnnyNoPirates.

The saga began in 2003 with Pirates of the Caribbean: The curse of the Black Pearlstarring Depp along with Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley. The tape raised more than 654 million dollars worldwide. Then came dead man’s chest, At world’s end, On stranger tides, and lastly The revenge of Salazar in 2017. The saga has raised more than 4,500 million dollars in all over the world.
