After the smash hit of Grease, Olivia Newton-John flew alone, without John Travolta, in another musical, Xanadudirected by Robert Greenwald. The story was more surreal, with Newton-John playing the daughter of Zeus, muse of dance, on a visit to earth and falls in love with a chulazo (Michael Beck). The nonsense is usually so total that it is hypnotic from beginning to end.
Because the soundtrack is impeccable, full of classics, such as the topic that shares a title with the film, and by the presence of the legendary actor, choreographer, dancer and director Gene Kelly. A classic trash ideal for lovers of classic music and cinema of the 80’s.
