There are many films that has inspired Superman and many others who have been in the way. Henry Cavill, Brandon Routh or Tom Welling are some of the actors who have given life to the superhero and now it has been revealed that Charlie Cox, star Daredevil, was on the point of embodying the character.
In 2008, Warner Bros I was shuffling between different directors for his new Superman movie before that Zack Snyder elected for The “Man of Steel”. According To Cinema Blend, Matthew Vaughn it was one of the aspiring filmmaker of the tape, which was recorded in collaboration with Mark Millar. The author of comics has now revealed the idea they had for the project.

“Matthew Vaughn and I had talked about doing a Superman movie for years. It was around the time it came out ‘Kick-Ass’. I had an idea of what that might be, but in reality I never told Matthew what it was and Matthew never told DC what it was because I did not know. We had many conversations about who might play Superman. I never really talk about the story. Your idea was really interesting, I wanted to Charlie Cox, the guy who played Daredevil”, he recounted.
“Matthew had to work with Charlie in Stardust a year or two before. He said: ‘There is something really nice in it,'” he said. However, Vaughn was not convinced due to the low height of the performer.

Finally, it was Zack Snyder who directed the tape, and Henry Cavill who got into the skin of the superhero. The film premiered in 2013 and raised more than $ 668 million around the world.
