During the past weekend, Jennifer Lawrence is married with her boyfriend, Cooke Maroney in a ceremony to be very elegant within of one of the largest mansions of Rhode Island, Belcourt of Newport.

The house, according to their own historical records, was built in 1891 by Oliver Belmont. It was built to “serve as a log cabin summer for him and his many horses.”

The house of Belmont in Rhode Island, designed by architect Richard Morris Hunt, has a “huge hall of transport, and stables, with tiles in cream color and granite lining the walls, a pavement of yellow bricks and a trough, central marble”. Something very curious is that the mansion had only one single room, so that Belmont could live in privacy with their horses.

Since its original construction, the house has changed hands many times and is now owned by Carolyn Rafaelian, CEO of the line of jewelry, Alex and Ani.

The huge house was the ideal place for a wedding as romantic and as massive as that of Lawrence. In accordance with E! News, the wedding was attended by 150 guests, including celebrities like Adele, Emma Stone, Amy Schumer, Kris Jenner, Ashley Olsen, Nicole Richie, Cameron Diaz and Sienna Miller.

“The guests were received in the garden with cocktails served in cups of copper”, shared a source to E! News. “The wedding had all the touches of autumn with flowers of a dark color, apples in baskets and grills, open fire to roast meat. All the food was prepared outdoors with grilled fish to firewood and carrots roasted and pumpkins as part of the menu”.
