Lima.-. The peruvian composer creator of international hits from Enrique Iglesias, Thalia, Becky G, changed the lyrics of their hit “Close to me” as a salute to moms on their day.

From his confinement in Miami, Patrick Romantik was inspired by the rhythm of cumbia, urban and guitar in hand he put voice to his new version of “Close to me” on the occasion of Mother’s Day.

“Close to me” has a mix version with Patrick Romantik and Leslie Shaw, with more than 700 thousand views on YouTube. Currently the version cumbia urbana leads the ranking on the radio one of the most popular genres in Peru since it was officially launched in times of quarantine.
