Bombay Bicycle Club coverea Selena Gomez from the Abbey Road studios for Spotify

Bombay Bicycle Club he is excited to share its beautiful cover to the worldwide success of Selena Gomez: Lose You To Love Me included in his latest release, Spotify Singlesavailable from today exclusively for the platform.

Along with the collaborator Rae Morris, who joined the assembly to share voices, the british band recorded Lose You To Love Me and a reinterpretation full of his recent single I Can Hardly Speak in the studies Abbey Road of London at the beginning of this year.

In marked contrast with the first cover of Selena Gomez (which the band issued for the first time in vivo in the Radio 1 Live Lounge earlier this year), his reworking of I Can Hardly Speak rebuilds the song from its roots, placing in layers, the acoustical instrumentation more traditional, including a string section, flute, oboe and an instrument folk, medieval guridy hurdy gurdy; a stringed instrument in great part forgotten, beloved of the renaissance era. Take the plane of the original recording, and reinvents it into something entirely more reflective, slower paced and intricate.

Like so many artists in all over the world, Bombay Bicycle Club was preparing for a great summer of performances at festivals, including slot machines main All Points East and Truck Festival, before the Coronavirus off those plans before they began.

The new album of the band, Everything Else Has Gone Wrongmarked an explosive return to the beginning of the year after several years of hiatus.
