The american singer has explained in a statement that India had “occupied for a long time a special place” in his heart, and he added that he felt honored to “be part of the search for solutions to the trafficking of children”. The organisation operates in countries such as India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.
Perry has not posted by the time anything in networking on this recent appointment, but congratulated prince Charles for his birthday, which coincided with his meeting in India. “It was a pleasure to spend a little time with you-and many bright minds of India in search of solutions amazing to make India a place more wonderful through their organization @thebritishasiantrust. I am very glad that a part of the focus is on the sustainability and the solutions to protect the environment”, wrote then the singer on her Instagram.
