If there is something that defined the 90’s are the songs of Britney Spears. Watching their videos on MTV, listening to it on a Walkman or on disks that “quemabas”, it was impossible not to want to do the choreography of “Baby One More Time” at the high school, dancing on Mars with “Oops I Did it Again” with that iconic red suit or carrying a snake in a few VMA’s in 2001. Always love Britney, but always miss his hits of the past.
There is a place where you can enter each one of their videos and participate in them. It’s called Britney Spears The Zone and it is like a museum of the princess of pop. Located in Los Angeles —one of our favourite cities—only a few blocks from LACMAthis immersive experience it is one-of-a-kind for anyone who is new to call a fan of Spears. The Zone takes you through nine rooms that recreate nine iconic videos of the singer.
This space of three thousand square feet in L. A. was built especially to become a experienced official Britney. The videos re-created in the museum pop-up are: Hit Me Baby One More Time, Oops I Did it Again, Toxic, I’m Slave 4 You, Circus, Stronger, Me Against the Music Blackout and Lucky.
Here our journey by each one of the videos. This museum pop-up will be in Los Angeles until April 26, so don’t think about it too much.
Hit Me Baby One More Time
In this classroom you will be given the introduction to Britney 101 to know the high school video and know that when you see a button, there is a photo opportunity. When you leave The Zone, you’ll be able to spend the wristband that connects directly to an app where you’ll download the photos, boomerangs and videos.
Oops I Did it Again
You’ll find a space station and even an astronaut who will have a engagement ring that you will have to refuse. Here there is also a photo opportunity to recreate the moment in the video where Britney is lying on a platform. You’ll look like this:
Our installation favorite was the airplane in the video for “Toxic”. We swear that is just the same, and even have a hat of blue as used by Britney.
I’m a Slave 4 You
You can recreate the best moment of Britney: when he sings “I’m a Slave 4 You” on the MTV VMA’s loading a python. In addition to the cage that you recorded a boomerang with the bracelet, there is a fog where the original video is being projected. Is this real life?.
“All you people look at me like I’m a little girl”
It is the largest installation. Under the circus tent there is a pool with 80 thousand balls where you can immerse yourself.
In this chapel of the video for “Blackout”, literally when you step, step, turn on the lights. We can’t think of a moment more “Instagrameable”.
At the end of the tour you will be able to see the costumes that Britney used in her videos. In addition to buying merch official. Click here to purchase tickets for this experience that will be in Los Angeles until the 26th of April.
