Lisbon, 11 sep (EFE).- The Spanish series “house of paper” will be one of the great protagonists of the sixth edition of Comic con Portugal, which begins tomorrow, Thursday, with the presence of two of his actresses, Esther Holly and Itziar Ituño.
Holly and Ituño -“Stockholm” and “Lisbon”, respectively, in the series of Netflix-turned-global phenomenon – will be on the grounds of the Paseo Marítimo of Algés -approximately 10 kilometres from the Portuguese capital – to chat and give autographs to the fans Portuguese days 12 and 13 September.
Another of the presences more aguardadas in the Comic-con Portugal is the Millie Bobbie Brown, the young british actress who plays the character of Eleven (Eleven) in another series from Netflix, “Stranger Things”, and that will be at the convention the last day, the day 15.
For your new edition, the Comic con Portugal chose as a topic the universe of the comics and movies of Marvel in tribute to the american Stan Lee (1922-2018), one of the architects of this fictional world, and co-creator of heroes such as Spider-Man, the Fantastic 4 or the Avengers.
At the entrance to the grounds, visitors will find a recreation of the city of New York designed by Lee in the 60’s to the pages of Marvel, with emblematic buildings of the comics like the Tower, Stark.
On behalf of the popular movie universe of Marvel in soil luso will be british actor Benedict Wong, who plays on the big screen to Wong, the faithful assistant of dr. Stephen Strange in films like “Doctor Strange,” or “Avengers: Endgame”.
Canadian actors Alexander Ludwig (“Vikings”) and Tricia Helfer (“Battlestar Galactica”), are other stars that the fans can get to know over the four days of the Comic con Portugal.
Who will also be presence is Ed Brubaker, writer of comics american famous for his work in “Captain America”, where he created the character of the Soldier of Winter and the history that would be the basis for the movie “Captain America: the Soldier Winter (2014).
Will also be other artists in the comic world as the duo composed by the brazilian Ivan Reis and the american Joe Prado (“Aquaman”, “Superman”) or the Spanish Raul Allen and Patricia Martin (“Wonder Woman”).
Contests of cosplay, spaces dedicated to the game or a symphony concert with some of the most famous tracks from the film are also part of the extensive programming for this sixth edition, the second held in the surroundings of Lisbon.
Made from 2014, the Comic-con Portugal became one of the festivals of the country, and last year received more than 100 000 visitors. EFE
