The singer Kesha falsely claimed that Dr. Luke raped Katy Perry – Shows

New York. The pop singer Kesha falsely claimed that Dr. Luke raped Katy Perry’s “without there being some kind of evidence” evidence to substantiate such allegations, issued a judge this week to the time that he sent the long lawsuit between Kesha and her former mentor’s judgment.

The lawyers Kesha said in a press release that they plan to appeal the ruling Thursday, which also notes that the singer will be the famous producer near 373.000 dollars in interest on the royalties she’s paid for with years of delay.

The decision is not the last word on demand broader for defamation and breach of contract filed by Dr. Luke against Kesha, but her lawyer said that the ruling “what about the justice that it seeks.”

“Dr. Luke craves the judgment in this case, which will demonstrate that the other false statements of Kesha on him were also false and defamatory,” said the lawyer, Christine Lepera.

Kesha, famous for hits such as “TiK ToK” and “Praying”, and Dr. Luke have been in legal suits since 2014, when she filed a lawsuit in which he claimed that the drugged and raped her in 2005 in addition to abusing emotionally her for years.

Luke denied this and sued, claiming that he was slandering him with inventions to try to get out of her contract with him.

A court in New York dismissed after allegations of sexual abuse of Kesha, because in some cases the crimes had prescribed and for other legal matters, without deciding whether the allegations were substantiated.

Meanwhile, Kesha said — in a text message 2016 to Lady Gaga — the singer of “Firework” Katy Perry “was raped by the same man.”

Dr. Luke, whose real name is Lukasz Gottwald, denied it, and Perry said they will “definitely not” it was true when questioned by the authorities in 2017.

“There is No evidence of any kind that shows that Gottwald raped Katy Perry,” said the judge in Manhattan Jennifer Schecter in his decision Thursday, saying that the declaration of Kesha was a false accusation that falls within the legal definition of defamation.

The failure to help by Dr. Luke, but the judge reminded that many aspects of the lawsuit are yet to be decided, including the issue of whether the prosecution of Kesha about being raped is real.

“Kesha and Gottwald have very different versions about what happened on the night in question. This court cannot decide a matter of law with documents and without an assessment of credibility,” wrote the judge. “That is a decision for the jury”.

The singer, whose real name is Kesha Rose Sebert, released his most recent album, “High Road”, last week. His emotional interpretation of “Praying” in the Grammy awards of 2018 marked a memorable moment within the movement #MeToo against sexual abuse.

Dr. Luke has produced some of the hits pop greatest of the last few decades when working with such stars as Perry, Miley Cyrus, Kelly Clarkson and Nicki Minaj.

The Associated Press does not typically name people who claim to have suffered sexual abuse unless they denounce publicly as has been done by Kesha.
