The gestures of the famous in the midst of protests by George Floyd



During this weekend of protests throughout the united States after the death of George Floyd last week, demonstrations which were joined by various celebrities.

Among those who were captured by different individuals, were spotted on singers like Halsey, Ariana Grande, Shawn Mendes, Camila Cabello, Lauren Jauregui, Yungblod, Machine Gun Kelly and Lana del Rey, among others.

Next to them was also seen actors Ross Lynch, Michael B. Jordan, and Timothe Chalamet, in addition to the model Emily Ratajkowski.

One of the most active during the protests for George Floyd was the singer Halsey, who shared through their social networks, various events that occurred while demonstrating.

In fact, through Instagram Stories, shared the image of a hematoma in the leg after the act of the police, accusing that I wasn’t doing anything “illegal”.


Famous pay bail

While some celebrities took to the streets to protest the death of George Floyd, others wanted to join in by donating to the Minnesota Freedom Fund, a nonprofit organization that helps low-income people.

Thanks to the donations that have made figures such as Seth Rogen, Steve Carell, Janelle Monáe, Ben Schwartz, Jameela Jamil, among others, the foundation has managed to pull of jail to several of the protesters who have been arrested.

Chrissy Teigen, for her part, donated USD$200,000 to help take out of prison those who have been arrested. While your donation would be of USD$100,000, then a user will treat the protesters as “criminals”, Teigen doubled the figure.
