A survey by Instituto Paraná Pesquisas released this Thursday (2nd) shows that President Jair Bolsonaro (no party) has the preference of Tocantins voters in the 2022 presidential race. In both scenarios presented, the current chief executive leads the intentions of votes in the region, with former president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) as the main adversary.

Jair Bolsonaro (no party): 37.6%

Lula (PT): 28.8%

Ciro Gomes (PDT): 6.1%

Sergio Moro: 6.1%

João Doria (PSDB): 3.1%

Datena (PSL): 2.6%

Luiz Henrique Mandetta (DEM): 2.0%

Doesn’t know/No response: 4.3%

None/White/Null: 9.4%

Scenario 2

Jair Bolsonaro (no party): 40%

Lula (PT): 30.2%

Ciro Gomes (PDT): 7.3%

João Doria (PSDB): 3.7%

Luiz Henrique Mandetta (DEM): 3.2%

Doesn’t know/No answer: 4.2%

None/White/Null: 11.3%

The Paraná Research Institute heard 1,526 voters by telephone in 72 municipalities in Tocantins between August 26 and 30, 2021. The margin of error is 2.5% plus or minus percentage points and the confidence level is 95 %.
