Unimed’s giant Christmas tree will be an attraction on Sunday | SOS Unimed

With the theme “Time to care for a better new year”, next Sunday, the 28th, the Unimed Teresina System turns on the lights in its Christmas space in the Unimed Ilhotas Hospital parking lot, near the Juscelino Kubitschek bridge.

The lights of the tree almost 20 meters high will turn on at 6 pm, with the presentation of the Teresina Symphony Orchestra and the presence of Santa Claus.

The attraction has a solidary objective: to collect non-perishable food for those who need it most. Therefore, the site has a collection point for donations from those who visit the space.

According to the President of Unimed Teresina, Dr. Emmanuel Fontes, the theme of care is very close to Christmas: “This year we showed even more care for people, as the pandemic is not over yet. Unimed and Intermed remain committed to the purpose of taking care of people’s health. But people have many other needs and we need solidarity too. Therefore, we want to inspire everyone to take care of each other, in every way possible, for a better new year, which is near. This is the meaning of Christmas and this event for us” – he added.
