People should be aware

According to surveys by the epidemiology team, more than 80% of mosquito breeding sites are identified in domestic environments.

“If we have this joint action of the public power and the population, we will finally be able to reverse this situation of increase in cases that the state has been identifying every month”, explained the secretary.

  • If you want to store bottles and other objects that can accumulate water, store them covered or upside down.

Sanitize containers that store water

  • Tanks, barrels and vats used to store rainwater, for example, must be covered and sanitized weekly with a brush and soap. Swimming pools must be treated with chlorine.

  • Tie the bags tightly and deposit them in bins out of the reach of animals. Do not throw garbade in abandoned land.

Use personal protection
