The news was announced on Tuesday afternoon (21) by the Municipal Health Department. The doses will be available in all units, from 9 am to 3:30 pm, without the need for an appointment.
According to the folder, the measure aims to expand vaccination coverage in the city and follows the guidelines of the State Health Department and the Ministry of Health. From the beginning of the campaign until June 15, Americana vaccinated 36,072 people against the flu.
Of the total vaccinated, 22,847 are elderly, 3,819 health workers, 3,577 children, 2,641 people with comorbidities, 721 people deprived of their liberty, 646 teachers, 544 pregnant women, 136 prison workers, 121 truck drivers, 62 public transport, 59 postpartum women, 59 workers from the security and rescue forces, 34 people with permanent disabilities, 23 members of the armed forces and 783 people from different groups, who were vaccinated in private clinics.
