Mayor David Almeida announces 11.73% readjustment for health servers

The mayor of Manaus, David Almeida, announced, on the night of this Monday, 20/6, a salary increase of 11.73% for the servers of the municipal health network. The readjustment proposal, which should be granted in two stages, in the months of July and November, will be forwarded in the coming days to the Manaus City Council (CMM) for approval.

In addition to the salary improvement for permanent servers, David Almeida informed that the city hall will promote adjustments in the organization chart of the Municipal Health Department (Semsa), which must also be approved by the CMM, guaranteeing better salary conditions for the occupants of commission positions, responsible for the management work and technical coordination.

“We have the best Basic Health in the country and we want wages and working conditions to be the best. Congratulations to Health, congratulations to the servers, I thank each one for the dedication in favor of society, in favor of our population, this increase will be given from the month of July, to the effective and commissioned “, assured the mayor, during a meeting with representatives of the Semsa, where the announcement of the payment of the first installment of the 13th salary for the month of July and new promotions and progressions by performance and titles was also made.

David Almeida congratulated the workers of the municipal health network for their performance in the Ministry of Health program, Previne Brasil, ensuring that Manaus remained in first place in the ranking of capitals in the last two evaluations. The program measures the quality of primary health care services and serves as a basis for financing actions in the municipalities.

The holder of Semsa, Djalma Coelho, also highlighted the work carried out by the servers.

“Manaus is a reference in the area of ​​Health, we want to continue advancing and with that I want to thank and demonstrate our pride and all the commitment and dedication provided by Semsa’s servers, who work directly with the population. In addition, the adjustment to the organizational chart will redeem an old debt with those who occupy coordination positions, such as the directors of Basic Health Units”, concluded Djalma.

Semsa has more than 11,000 civil servants, including staff and those in commissioned positions.
