PSG president avoids guaranteeing Neymar in the club’s future: “Some will come and others will” | french football

Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser al Khelaïf has avoided guaranteeing Neymar’s stay at the club for years to come. In an interview with the Spanish newspaper Marca, the manager was asked if shirt 10 is part of the team’s new project. The Qatari responded with an evasive statement.

“We cannot talk about these issues in the press. Some will come, others will, but they are private negotiations,” said Nasser.

Neymar has a contract with PSG until 2025 and, in recent statements, assured that he does not intend to leave the clubeven after suffering from boos from the crowd during the last season;

Also this Tuesday, Nasser al-Khelaïfi confirmed, but to the French newspaper “Le Parisien”, that negotiates with Nice for Christopher Galtier for the coaching post. Despite the open statement about the search for a new commander, the Argentine Maurício Pochettino still remains in office.

– We are discussing with Nice, it is no secret. I hope we can reach an agreement quickly, but I respect Nice and the president. Everyone defends their interests.

– We want players who like the club, who like to fight, who like to win. For the next season, the goal is clear: to work every day at 200%. Give everything we’ve got for this shirt, give it our all and we’ll see the result. We have to become humble again. Whoever wants to stay in his comfort, whoever doesn’t want to fight, will stay aside,” said Khelaif, as he spoke. Le Parisien.
