Updated design with many new features
The look of the new Hyundai HB20 sedan 2023 has been extremely modified, bringing new details, more straight and geometric, to deliver a sophisticated look to the model.
Starting with the front, the new HB20S line received a new front grille, a more voluminous bumper, standard DLR headlights and an LED option.
In addition, it had its length increased by 65 millimeters, being 50 millimeters in the front overhang and 15 millimeters in the rear overhang.
In the back of the vehicle, lanterns that cross the car from side to side were integrated.
To complement the larger external dimensions, the wheels have increased in relation to the previous models, going from 15” to 16” rims in light alloy wheels and diamond finish.
The new 2023 Hyundai HB20 sedan has six exterior paint colors: Onix Black and Atlas White, in solid options, Silk Grey, Brisk Silver and Sand Silver, in metallic options, and the pearlized Sapphire blue tone.
State-of-the-art technology ensures greater convenience
Hyundai’s connected car service will be present in this version. Bluelink provides alerts, 24-hour assistance for emergencies, vehicle tracking and immobilization in case of theft or robbery, among other items.
The instrument panel is now fully digital, colorful and interactive. The new Supervision Cluster is available from the Platinum version and allows the driver to configure safety and comfort items.
Remote engine start is one of the new features and is available from the Platinum version onwards. With this system, the driver can start the engine and air-condition the car remotely, using the key in person.
Another technology available is Stop & Go (ISG). The system allows the reduction of fuel consumption when the car is stopped in traffic, turning the engine on and off automatically.
The new Hyundai HB20 Sedan has a button to activate the voice command on the steering wheel, in addition to the blueMedia multimedia center with an 8 “screen and wireless connectivity through the Google Android Auto or Apple Car Play applications.
In addition, the sedan now offers three USB ports, two for charging a cell phone battery or other device, one of which is available for backseat passengers.
Finally, the Platinum plus version features automatic digital air conditioning with three levels of intensity.
SmartSense received new functions for the HB20 line. Hyundai’s advanced security system has been enhanced with some first-of-its-kind applications for the compact segment.
The centering and lane keeping assistant is one of the highlights for this version. If necessary, the system can act to adjust the steering wheel and keep the vehicle on track.
The Platinum Plus gets the Rear Cross Traffic Assistant (RCCA), which seeks to avoid collisions when backing out of a parking space. When detecting an approaching vehicle, the driver receives a warning and, if necessary, the RCCA automatically applies the brakes.
One of the best new features is the Safe Exit (SEW). The system identifies and warns of an approaching car when an occupant opens a door to exit.
Speed limiter, six airbags, new side curtain airbags, stability and traction control, blind spot assistant, emergency braking signal, hill start assist and cruise control come as standard on all versions.
Reverse camera feature, automatic headlights function and rear parking sensor are available for Limited, Platinum and Platinum Plus models.
