Bisons change their skin. The League of Legends Super League team has reached an agreement whereby the British Umbro will be the technical sponsor of the team in 2023, taking over from Puma. The financial details of the operation have not been disclosed.
According to a statement, the British brand will be in charge of dressing Bisons and its members with its products on a day-to-day basis and in the matches they play. Umbro will accompany and increase in 2023 the change in the aesthetics of the Basque club.
“We are delighted to be able to announce Umbro as the new technical sponsor of the club and that its presence in the Super League is in our hands”, explained Iñigo García, marketing director of Bisons Eclub. “We want to continue impacting and attracting the youngest and being able to work with one of the most recognized brands worldwide, and with which we share values and points of view, is something that fills us with pride and that will make us share achievements”, he details.
Last week, English sporting goods company Umbro reached an agreement with rapper KaseO’s eSports club to become the team’s new technical sponsor. In this way, Umbro will dress all the club’s teams for three seasons.
Umbro first entered eSports competition in 2017when he reached a sponsorship agreement with Hashtag United, the eSports team led by the youtuber Spencer Owen, creator of Spencer FC.
