Fortnite would return to the iOS ecosystem natively this year
It is a matter of time before Apple allows third-party stores in its ecosystem. So Epic Games will have the doors open and, surely, Fortnite it will return to iOS devices natively sooner or later.
Tim Sweeney decided to say goodbye to 2022 with a message that moved many Battle Royale players. “Next year on iOS,” wrote the manager. Later, he posted a screenshot of Fortnite where you can see the special event that was made to receive the New Year within the title.
So, it seems a matter of time for Epic Games to achieve one of its objectives after a long and intense legal battle against Apple. When and how will it happen? It is still too early to tell, so we will have to wait for the company to share more information about it.
Epic Games has managed to keep Battle Royale available on mobile despite conflicts with Apple and Google. This has been achieved in part thanks to Xbox Cloud Gaming, a cloud gaming service that allows you to enjoy the title for free, even without a subscription to the Microsoft platform.
