The next January 13 starts the official League of Legends competition for Central America and the Caribbean, The Elements League. This year the Elements League will have the participation of 6 teams, 2 from Central America; the champion of the past two seasons Saprissa Esports from Costa Rica and the Guatemalan lions from Janus Esports. The remaining 4 will be Caribbean representatives, Bandits, Vandals, Mezexis from the Dominican Republic and War Legion from the island of charm Puerto Rico, the latter two making their league debut.
Under the same format as the two previous splits, a group stage with round-trip games, where the 6 teams will play best-of-one series. Later, a Playoff Phase where only the 4 best teams from the regular phase of the tournament qualify and the matches will be the best of 5. It should be noted that the champion of this tournament will have his place in the northern regional assured. Given the changes in the national leagues, this split may be decisive for the aspirations of continuing in the next league model.
The Elements League will be broadcast at 6:00 p.m. Costa Rica, 7:00 p.m. Panama, 8:00 p.m. Dominican Republic and on Sundays (January 15 and February 12) 5:00 p.m. Costa Rica, 6:00 p.m. Panama and 7:00 p.m. 00pm Dominican Republic on the Twitch channels LVPCAyCLoL and Youtube of LVPLAN.
