‘Pokémon GO’ Community Events are held once a month and, for a few hours, a pokémon is selected to appear most frequently, allowing you to quickly boost your progress. For this January, this classic game event returns, which will allow us to access new missions and obtain various bonuses.
So a question arises, When will the first community day of this 2023 be celebrated? Let’s find out and also see which pokémon will be the highlight of the month.
When will the January community day be in ‘Pokémon GO’?
Aim for Saturday, January 21, 2023 at a time from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in central Mexico we will be able to play in this event.
What will be the featured Pokémon for January’s Community Day in ‘Pokémon GO’?

This time it is the turn of larvitar, the “Rock Skin” pokémon, who will appear more frequently in his wild state for us to capture. Said pokémon evolves into Pupitar to finally become a Tyranitar, a powerful and imposing companion that will help us defeat whoever comes our way.
If we manage to reach Pupitar before the end of the three hours of community days, we can secure the Anti-Aircraft attack for Tyranitar, once its evolution is reached. This movement has a power in combat with another trainer of 12 points, while in gyms and raids it amounts to 16 points.
What are the event bonuses?

- Triple XP for catching Pokémon.
- Bait Modules activated during the event will last for three hours.
- Incense (except for Daily Adventure Incense) activated during the event will last for three hours.
- Surprises if we take photos during the event.
