Play the free Multiplayer Tech Test right now to help Relic test their servers!

Vancouver, Canada – January 11, 2023 – Relic Entertainment™, Inc. and SEGA Europe Limited are pleased to announce that players will have one last chance to play Company of Heroes 3 ahead of its release on Steam on February 23, 2023. Strategy fans can head over to Steam right now and take part in the Multiplayer Tech Test – helping Relic prepare for launch by testing their servers and infrastructure on a massive scale.

The Multiplayer Tech Test is now available and will last until Monday, January 16 at 18:00 GMT. Participants can try eight different multiplayer maps, set in both Italy and North Africa, and can compete in 1v1, 2v2, 3v3 and 4v4 matches, as well as play Skirmish vs AI, Annihilation Mode and create custom games. Players can also explore the four factions and twelve battlegroups that will be included in Company of Heroes 3 at launch.

This Multiplayer Tech Test is aimed at strategy and RTS fans, but Relic has also included “Mission Zero,” a (skippable) tutorial mission for those who want to warm up their RTS muscle memory. Also, all playable multiplayer maps are available against AI opponents.

Players can learn more about the Multiplayer Tech Test, its goals, how to report bugs, and a timeline outlining any planned server downtime, in this blog post. Relic encourages players to share their gaming experiences via the CoH-Development community feedback platform here.
