Fortnite has received his first update of the year during the early hours of Wednesday, January 18 and, as is customary in the Epic Games game, it is accompanied by a series of quite interesting news.
The first one has to do with the so-called scouting falcon, a drone that will allow us to recognize the terrain close to us. With it we can place signs, mark enemies and even open chests or collect loot.
However, using the Scouting Falcon also has negative consequences. And it is that, while we are handling it, our character will remain completely immobile and vulnerable to enemies.
As indicated on the Fortnite blog, we will find this new item “on the ground, in normal chests, oath chests and supply drops” and we can use it as many times as we want in the same game.
On the other hand, update 23.20 brings five new reality augmentations: banana booty (receive a treasure map that will guide you to buried treasure), medical shotgun (by hitting opponents, you recover health and shield), humbling lesson (regain health and shield by eliminating opponents with common and uncommon weapons), zero motion (you will get zero displacement for a time when you shield break an enemy) and danger lover (Restore health and gain movement speed for a short time when your shield breaks.)
Thanks to this new patch, contracted characters can get on vehicles as passengers. Adjustment of dynamic 3D resolution for computers.
