Minecraft 1.19 Java Edition is a bit restrictive when it comes to cheats. You can enable them when you’re creating the world, or you can temporarily activate them using a cheat. This is how you can enable cheats in Minecraft 1.19 Java Edition when you are creating a world:

  1. Open Minecraft and create a new world.
  2. In the menu, after clicking the Create New World button, you will see the settings for this new world. The second setting on the left is the Allow Cheats option. Turn it on.

Enabling cheats in Minecraft 1.19 Bedrock Edition is relatively easy. You can enable them when you are creating the world or during your game. This is what you need to do to enable cheats in Minecraft 1.19 Bedrock:

  1. Go to Settings and open the Game Settings category. It should be the one that opens first when you enter the Settings menu. If you’re creating a new world, you’ll find this menu before you hit the Create button.
  2. Scroll down until you find the Cheats heading, with the Enable Cheats switch. You can also see it in the screenshot above.
  3. Activate the cheats by clicking the button.

You can always disable them by going to Settings and unchecking the Enable Cheats option. Players will now have access to the cheat console, which will allow them to do whatever they want.
