The second film in the trilogy (which already has the third film confirmed for 2024) hits theaters in June. While we wait until then, here’s a rumor that may have foreshadowed one of the movie’s big surprises.
According to famous insider Daniel RPK, the film will mention the events of Spider-Man: Never Go Homewhich also brought the Spider-Verse to live-action and became one of the main events of Phase 4 and the Multiverse Saga of the MCU!
The insider says the characters will mention that “something bad happened to the multiverse due to a certain event”. And beyond! By saying that this event was provoked by the “Doctor Strange and the nerdy kid mess”.
The gossip seems to tie in with another recent rumor, that the movie was delayed from last year so they could get Tom Holland’s cameo in the movie!
If Tom’s Miranha does make an appearance in the film, it’s very unlikely that the events of his last film go unmentioned. Given the confidence gained by RPK, we can trust the rumor a little more.
But obviously, always consider this as RUMOR! keep an eye on marvel’s legacy for more information and curiosities.
