Samsung activates a new map for its metaverse game in Fortnite

On March 3, Samsung Electronics released a new map for its metaverse game, Fortnite, centered around its new smartphone, the Galaxy S23. The new interface offers a more immersive experience for players and visitors, as the entire space is designed with the features and functionality of the latest phone in the Galaxy S line.

Arthur Wong, Marketing Director of Samsung Latin Americacommented that the metaverse and Fortnite offer incredible resources to quickly connect messages, products and people in a highly immersive transmedia language.

“Our communication channels in the metaverse must be constantly updated so that our interfaces communicate not only Samsung products, but also our latest messages. This is one of the coolest resources in the digital universe, the Metaverse, and Fortnite gameplay specifically; allow the use of a transmedia language in which we connect, with great speed, messages, products and people, with a high degree of immersion”

In addition to the new map, Gameplay in Fortnite has also been improved and features Galaxy S23-compatible attributes such as a new high-res long-distance zoom feature, a Nightography button that allows you to see in the dark, and the Knox button that provides additional protection to the player. Fun Game Quest, available on the Samsung Island in Fortnite, is an interactive “hide and seek” game in which the player must find the new hidden Galaxy S23 smartphone and keep it in their possession until the end of the round.
