Epic brings Unreal Engine creation tools to Fortnite

Using Fortnite as a showcase, its developer has introduced Unreal Editor for Fortnite.

It is a map and world editor that, using Unreal tools, allows you to design and generate maps, game modes, and incredible worlds in a relatively simple way and available to anyone who wants to have an interest in how it is used.

It is not a map editor to use, but a set of tools that using Unreal allows you to generate games completely new using Fortnite as a base and as a site for users to enjoy them.

Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN) is only available on PC and works in conjunction with the Fortnite Creative tools. However, while the app is exclusive to Windows, creators can develop and test real-time islands on consoles as well, so you won’t be limited to just that version of the game.
