Gisele Bündchen talks about the end of her marriage to Tom Brady: “Death of my dream”

Vanity Fair Cover, Gisele Bundchen broke the silence and spoke, for the first time, about the end of her 13-year marriage to the football player tom brady. The top model, who wants to “spread her wings and fly” at this point in her life, says the split “is like death and rebirth.”

“It’s hard because you imagine your life was going to be a certain way, and you did everything you could, you know?” she said. “I believed in fairy tales when I was a kid. I think it’s beautiful to believe that. I mean, I’m so grateful I did it.”says the model, with teary eyes, according to the North American magazine.

Mourning the “death of my dream”, Gisele continues: “You give everything you have to achieve your dream. You give 100% of yourself, and it’s painful when it doesn’t turn out the way you hoped and worked for it, but you can only do your part.”

Bündchen also recalled how she and Tom met. “When I met Tom I was 26 and I wanted a family. I felt so ready,” admit. According to the publication, a year after the model and actor Leonardo DiCaprio broke up, mutual friends set up a “blind date” for the former couple. “I knew right away,” she told the same magazine in 2009.

Denying the rumors that dominated the international press after the divorce, Gisele guarantees that she did not end the relationship because of the player’s career. At the time, the model received a lot of criticism and gained a reputation as a “shrew” after rumors said that she made Brady choose between family and profession.

“Listen, I’ve always rooted for him and will forever,” he says. “If there’s one person I want to be the happiest in the world, it’s him, believe me. I want him to reach out and conquer. I want all his dreams to come true. This is what I really want from the bottom of my heart.”

Gisele and Tom share their children Benjamin12 years old, and Vivian9. The player is also the father of jackaged 15, the result of his former relationship with Bridget Moynahan. Brady and Bündchen announced their divorce in October 2022 after 13 years of marriage.
