During the event Let’s go there! of Pokémon GO, Pansage, Pansear and Panpour will appear all over the world in the wild and in Field Research tasks. If you have yet to catch any of these elusive Pokémon, now is the perfect time to add them to your Pokédex. Ditto will also appear more frequently during the event in the form of the following Pokémon: Diglett, Grimer, Snubbull, Corphish, Starly, Roggenrola, Tympole, and Litleo. If you’re lucky, you might come across a Shiny Ditto!
And the thing does not end here, because it is possible that you will find a variocolor Meltan during the event Let’s go there! By using the Mystery Box between the Tuesday March 21 at 10 am and Wednesday March 29, 2023 at 8 pm in your local time, Shiny Meltan may spawn, if you’re lucky. Trainers will be able to use the Mystery Box more often than usual and there will be a higher chance of encountering XXS and XXL size Meltan during the event. In order to use the Mystery Box, you will need to transfer Pokémon from Pokémon GO to Pokémon HOME or to the games Pokémon: Let’s GO, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s GO, Eevee! from Nintendo Switch.
You will also get double Candy when transferring Pokémon during the event.
Team GO Rocket is back with their evil plans and has prepared a vile takeover of the March 25 at 10 am to March 29, 2023 at 8 pm in your local time. He completes a new Special Research story and gets a Rocket Super Radar to then defeat Giovanni and save Dark Regice. The Special Research story can be completed until the end of the season on June 1, 2023 at 10 am in your local time.
During this takeover, Field Research tasks will be available that will reward a Mysterious Component. Take this opportunity to collect loads of mysterious components, build Rocket Radars, and take on the leaders of Team GO Rocket!
Team GO Rocket Grunts will also appear more frequently at PokéStops and in balloons. But these malevolent villains will be using new Shadow Pokémon, so you’ll need to redesign your teams to take on opponents like Dark Alolan Grimer, Dark Phanpy, Dark Treecko, Dark Torchic, and Dark Drifloon. If you’re lucky, you might just have a chance to rescue a Shiny Pokémon from the clutches of one of these evil characters.
Additionally, this event will enable the rare possibility of using a charged attack TM to help shadow Pokémon forget about the charged attack Frustration.
And, as always, you can get 12 km Eggs by defeating Team GO Rocket Leaders. The following Pokémon will hatch from 12 km Eggs obtained during the event:
