Valve has released One page of frequently asked questions Counter-Strike 2 Limited Beta on Steam, in it, the team confirmed that accounts with VAC or game bans in CS:GO cannot and will not play Counter-Strike 2 on VAC Secured servers.
“No. Accounts with editor or VAC locks in CS:GO cannot play Counter-Strike 2 on VAC protected servers.”
Therefore, if you are one of the people affected by the in-game ban, you will not be able to play the highly anticipated sequel unless you have a secondary account or enter a server that does not have the game’s VAC protection.
