Does Kecleon have a shiny version in Pokémon Go?
As far as we can tell, the shiny version of Kecleon hasn’t made it to the game. We have not received enough reports to determine if the shiny version of Kecleon is available to players. It only started appearing shortly after the Chespin Community Day event. More players will need to try to catch the Pokemon in their local area to confirm if they can find a shiny version.

However, we imagine that the glossy version is not available at the moment. We’re going to guess this because Niantic rarely releases a shiny version of a Pokemon the first time it appears in the game. Kecleon will likely reappear for the upcoming Pokémon Go Tour: Hoenn event, which will launch in February, near the end of the Mystical Wishes season. All Hoenn Pokémon in the event have a chance to appear as shiny versions, and this will include Kelceon when the event occurs.
If you don’t catch a shiny Kecleon while it spawns, we imagine you’ll have a chance when the Tour: Hoenn event happens. Like previous Pokémon Go Tour events, all Pokémon will appear during the day, with a higher chance of finding their shiny versions for all players.
