Confirmed the venues and exact dates of the VCT Masters in Tokyo

The regions have not yet started their league of the VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT), but Riot Games already generates expectations for what will be the second international tournament of the year. VALORANT’s head of esports in the Pacific, Jake Sin, has revealed via from Twitter the venues, dates and exact schedules of the VCT Masters in Tokyo. This will be the first international VALORANT tournament held in Asia, where Japan has great weight as it is one of the countries where the most consumed shooter.

One of the main changes of the Tokyo VCT Masters compared to LOCK//IN is that it will have two venues where the tournament will be held. During the tournament held in São Paulo, Brazil, everything was played at the Ginásio do Ibirapuera. On the other hand, in Japan most of the matches will be played first in one pavilion, while the final of the lower draw and the grand final in another with a larger capacity for spectators.

Compared to the previous edition, this year the VCT Masters in Tokyo will have one day less in the group stage. In any case, the number of participants will be maintained, since a total of 12 clubs will fight for the title of champion. In addition, regions like China will make their debut in this tournament, which has already been held on previous occasions in places like Reykjavik, Iceland, or Berlin, Germany. However, one of the locations is Chiba, which is an independent city from Tokyo close to the capital.
