Fortnite can only be played on Windows 10 and 11

The change is not a total surprise. Developer Epic Games said in December that it planned to stop supporting those old versions of Windows with the release of Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 – which is the specific season that Epic launches today.

If you still have Windows 7 or 8 and want to play during the “Mega” season, Epic recommends using the cloud gaming service Nvidia GeForce Now.
