If you are a fan of Grey’s Anatomy from a long time, knows that there are certain things that mean danger. For example, if “Chasing Cars” starts playing, or the surgeons notice that there is something silent nearby. Or any of them set foot near a plane, train, bus, ferry or truck.
Of course, one of the biggest forebodings is a dreaded two-part episode – because many of the show’s worst tragedies (like the bomb or the hospital shooting) took place over the course of two installments.
And, well, there’s another one on the way that will put Dr. Addison Montgomery at Hurricane Center

Grey’s Anatomy aired a new episode in the US this Thursday, March 16, and at the end of it a promotional video worried fans. It all starts off well, when we see that Addison is going to return once more. Though it should be a happy occasion, however, the hospital quickly descends into chaos when anti-abortion protesters crowd the entrance.

At one point, someone throws a brick through the window and hits Blue in the head, prompting Teddy to announce a “hospital-wide lockdown”.
Other parts of the video include Amelia running and Addison crying in a corner, while the text says that “no doctor is safe”. Borrowing a phrase from the famous fan of Grey’s AnatomyTaylor Swift, “I think I’ve seen this movie before… and I didn’t like the ending“.
What can happen in the new two-part event of Grey’s Anatomy?
Yes, the terrifying teaser is reminiscent of the season 6 hospital shooting, as many viewers pointed out on Twitter. To recap if you’ve locked out his memory episode (which is fair enough): “Sanctuary” and “Death and All His Friends” saw widower Gary Clark exacting revenge in the hospital after his wife, Alison, died there.
While the details of Season 19’s lockdown differ, it’s clear that the hospital is going through another violent crisis.

The official synopsis for the March 23 episode reads: “Addison makes a special appearance at Gray Sloan to welcome Bailey’s new midwifery interns. Maggie’s lung transplant goes off the rails and Nick bonds with Lucas – before the day takes a shocking turn.”
Then, at the episode’s conclusion on March 30: “Shortly after the shocking events at the clinic, the hospital is shut down and the Gray Sloan doctors split up to save several lives. Meanwhile, Maggie gets into trouble with Winston, and Jules’ roommate makes a surprise appearance..”
Grey’s Anatomy is no stranger to catastrophe, of course – and with the new interns comparing themselves to their forefathers in many ways, it makes sense that an outright tragedy could be on the way. Will any of them die?
