Highlights of the program from March 20th to 26th

Idris Elba is the big star of the Super Premiere of Telecine this Saturday (the 25th). From 22:00, ‘The Beast’ is shown, a film in which the star gives life to Nate, a widowed father who travels with his daughters to South Africa and finds himself involved in a saga to escape from a lion. On Monday (the 20th), the atmosphere is more relaxed and fun is guaranteed with the presentation, at 22h, of ‘Norbit’ at Telecine Fun. The mood is still up there on Tuesday (the 21st), because Telecine Pipoca has prepared the ‘Sing’ Double Program, which includes the two titles of the franchise. The special will air from 20:05. Wednesday (the 22nd) is also the premiere day on Telecine Premium: ‘Alice’, a film starring Keke Palmer, arrives on the channel at 10 pm. To get in the mood for ‘John Wick 4 – Baba Yaga’, which premieres in cinemas on Thursday (the 23rd), Telecine Premium will broadcast, from 5:55 pm, the ‘John Wick 4’ warm-up. On Friday (the 24th), there will be no shortage of action with the display of the Double Combo ‘Truque de Mestre’. Still following the Oscar® mood, Telecine Cult presents on Saturday, at 7:40 pm, ‘Parasite’ — winner of the 2020 Film category. o Super Combo Beasts with breathtaking movies like ‘Jurassic World: Dominion’ and ‘Fear Deep: The Second Strike’. SUPER PREMIERE – ‘The beast’

Next Saturday’s Super Premiere (the 25th) is with ‘A Fera’, a film starring Idris Elba. In the plot, the star has to protect his daughters from a lion during a trip to South Africa. The session is at 22:00.

SECOND – ‘Norbit’

There will be no shortage of fun on Monday (the 20th) at Telecine Fun with the screening of ‘Norbit’ at 10 pm. This is typical Eddie Murphy comedy. He plays Norbit and Rasputia, who form a couple with a troubled relationship. A box-office hit, grossing $160 million worldwide in 2007, the film was nominated for an Academy Award® in the Makeup category.

On Tuesday (the 21st), Telecine Pipoca will show the Duplo ‘Sing’ Programme, with the two films from the animation franchise. In ‘Sing – Quem Canta Seus Males Amanta’, Buster, a friendly koala, tries to save his theater from bankruptcy by launching a musical contest. In the second feature, Buster goes in search of a superstar to participate in his talent show. The special starts at 8:05 pm.

FOURTH – ‘Alice’

On Wednesday (the 22nd), ‘Alice’, a drama starring Keke Palmer, premieres at 10 pm on Telecine Premium. In the plot, she plays a woman who is rescued from a farm, where she was enslaved, and goes in search of revenge.

In the Telecine catalog, on Globoplay and on the operators’ streaming platforms, viewers can watch ‘2 Minutes of Fame’, a comedy that also features Keke in the cast.

FIFTH – ‘John Wick 4’ warm-up

On Thursday (the 23rd), ‘John Wick 4 – Baba Yaga’ hits theaters and, to get in the mood, Telecine Premium is going to show the Warming up special ‘John Wick 4’. Starting at 5:55 pm, the channel presents the other three titles in the franchise starring Keanu Reeves. In the feature films, the star lives a retired hired killer who returns to the life of crime after his pet dog, given to him by his late wife, is murdered by the mafia.

Still in the Oscar® mood, Telecine Cult shows, at 7:40 pm on Saturday (the 25th), ‘Parasite’. The feature was enshrined with four figurines in 2020, including Best Film – it was the first Korean production to take the honor. The film criticizes social inequality through the story of a family on the outskirts of town, which joins together in a scheme to guarantee employment for all its members in a house in an upscale neighborhood of Seoul.

SUNDAY – Super Combo Beasts

The screen of Telecine Pipoca will be filled with tension on Sunday (the 26th) with Super Combo Feras. The special brings together four electrifying films in which the big stars are scary animals. The kickoff is with the thriller ‘Deep Fear – The Second Attack’, at 4:25 pm, in which four friends try to escape from a terrifying shark during a tourist dive. Afterwards, the lions take over everything with the presentations of ‘A Sombra e a Escuridão’, at 6 pm, and ‘A Fera’, at 8 pm. The program ends with ‘Jurassic World: Dominion’ at 21:40.
