Meet the Brazilian brand of jeans that is darling of Gigi Hadid, Lila Moss and Elsa Hosk | Fashion

Julia Arcangeli started customizing her Converse All Stars with hand painting in 2016, but it took her a while to understand that fashion was the way she was going to go. It was during the pandemic that she founded her eponymous brand, By Julia Arcangeli, with the proposal to create custom pants, in the best DIY style.

After a dream in which she “painted jeans full of mushrooms”, the stylist began a study to formulate the creation of the first pair of her label. The project began to receive attention from Julia’s friends, who also wanted customized models, and then the Brazilian acquired international recognition by dressing celebrities such as Elsa Hosk and Gigi Hadid and model Vittoria Ceretti. Her next order comes from none other than Lila Moss, model and daughter of Kate Moss.

“I carry a passion for art in my veins. Since I was a little girl painting, taught by my father, was my way of expressing myself to the world, managing in my process to connect this universe with my way of dressing. I have always faced my process creative as a collage. A mix of distinct and at the same time obvious designs, but formulated in my own way”, says Julia.
