Minecraft Legends appeared again and this time he did it in the recent digital broadcast ‘Developer_Direct‘ from Xbox, with Mojang showing us a new advance to know what awaits us in this new world based on his acclaimed property.
The studio is not the only one involved, as they are supporting Blackbird Interactive, who this year will also release their ambitious project ‘Homeworld 3‘. His first preview of Minecraft Legends has allowed us to see a completely amazing world with the theme already known from Mojang’s work, but this time we will have completely original characters.
Thus, this campaign will place players in a procedurally generated open world, where villagers coexist with zombies, creepers, skeletons and other creatures. All these races must face the ‘piglins‘, some anthropomorphic pigs that will seek to destroy everything.

Minecraft Legends: Campaign and PvP combat
In story mode, our character will be able to move freely, while recruiting new allies and facing the constant threats that he will encounter. Apparently, we will have different scenarios ranging from sunny places to one covered in snow.
There will also be the possibility of play online cooperatively for up to four players. Needless to say, Nintendo Switch, PS4, and Xbox One users will only be able to create two-user games, although they will be able to join four-user games.
It will also include a 4vs4 multiplayer on equally procedurally generated maps, although they will be smaller than those in story mode. All players must defend themselves by creating bases, get resources to summon mobs and also deal with the piglins.
Minecraft Legends will be released this April 18, 2023 for PC, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, PS5, PS4 and Xbox One.
