Percy Jackson series to have season 2

Percy Jackson, Disney+ series inspired by Rick Riordan’s books, hasn’t even premiered yet, but it may already have a second season in the producers’ plans. Who left this possibility in the air was the creator of the story, Rick Riordan, through his blog.

“If you haven’t seen a particular god or demigod announced (for Season 1), it’s because they don’t appear in the season and won’t be cast until we start subsequent seasons, which means any of those announcements will likely take at least a year. . Demigods later, but I’m pleased to say we’re in a pretty good place as we look ahead to Season 2 (not yet greenlit but fully anticipated)!” he wrote.

Recently, the writer also pointed out that the series will feature many epic action scenes. It is worth remembering that Percy Jackson brings Greek mythology to a universe full of demigods and mystical beings. The project is scheduled to premiere in 2024.

Percy Jackson was successful with previously released movies. However, the new series has nothing to do with the saga’s features. In short, Logan Lerman and Alexandra Daddario give way to a Percy and Annabeth aged more faithfully to the books, which will be played by Walker Scobell, from The Aafam Project, and Leah Sava Jeffries, in addition to Aryan Simhadri as Grover.

Therefore, the portal Variety revealed new names that will also join the cast. Virginia Kull as Sally Jackson, Glynn Turman as Chiron, Jason Mantzoukas as Dionysus/Mr. D, Megan Mullally as Mrs. Dodds and finally Timm Sharp as Gabe Ugliano.
