TecnoCon Worten”, the gaming, technology and K-pop event that is held within the framework of “Tecnológica Santa Cruz”, begins tomorrow, Friday March 24, at 4:00 p.m., and will remain open until Sunday at 20:00 hours. This was announced by the CEO of the Development Society, Alfonso Cabello, who explained that “the conference will have the La Recova Art Center as its main space, admission to which is free until full capacity is reached”.
Likewise, Cabello clarified that “the ‘TecnoCon Worten’ event is complemented by an open space in the Isla de la Madera square, where various activities will also take place” and added that “for their part, the K -pop will take place at the Guimerá Theater, with the presence of the ATTI group as a jury and with a closing performance by Hyemin”.
“In the gaming section we will have fifteen tournaments,” explained Cabello, “whose prizes will be several sweatshirts, Worten gift cards and up to two PlayStation 5” and added that “in addition to the tournaments with prior registration, there will be open cups and free play , with the titles Valorant, Fortnite, Call of Duty Warzone 2.0, Super Smash Bros Ultimate, Mario Strikers Battle League Football, Mario Kart, Taiko No Tatsujin: Rhythm Festival, Nintendo Switch Sports and Just Dance”.
The mayor continued commenting that “at ‘TecnoCon Worten’ there will also be an Artist Alley or artists alley made up of 20 local artists” and specified that “we will have illustrators, comic book artists, character designers, photographers and content creators who will put their works available to attendees.
“Regarding K-pop, several contests have been scheduled,” said Cabello, “the main course of which will be the individual and group contests on Sunday at the Guimerá Theater” and added that “tickets for the group contest have been practically sold out since they came out , but there are still seats available for the individual contest on the event website, www.tecnocon.es/kpop”.
On the other hand, the mayor reported that “throughout the weekend we will also have all kinds of activities related to K-pop and Asian culture” and specified that “there will be an anime projection, karaoke or catwalk and cosplay activities , among other”.
