With a futuristic neo-Tokyo theme and new locations across the map, the latest season of Fortnite has returned to give a complete turn to the concept of the game. The latest addition has been the Kinetic Blades, a new melee weapon based on a katana.
The Kinetic Blade works similarly to last season’s Shockwave Hammer, though it’s faster to use and requires more precision. We will also need it to complete certain missions such as “Knock down players with the kinetic blade”.

Where to find a Kinetic Blade in Fortnite
The easiest place to find a Kinetic Blade in Fortnite is at the Kenjutsu junction. In this location there are ten kinetic sheets inside the main building of this new point of interest, so we shouldn’t have any problems getting one.
However, we can also buy a kinetic blade from the NPC known as Mizuki. It is located in the eastern watchtower, to the right of the Citadel, in the northwest corner of the map.

However, Kinetic Blades spawn in the futuristic biome in the southeast corner of the map, so if you’re around that area you can find one without spending gold bars.

How to use a kinetic blade to take down opponents in Fortnite
The Kinetic Blade has two main functions: The first is a basic attack that can be used with the aim button. If we chain three blows in a row, we will knock our opponent backwards.
The second is a charged attack that can be used with the fire button. If we keep it pressed for a few seconds we will charge forward in a straight line before releasing a powerful blow with the katana.

This charged attack has three uses before it needs time to recharge. We can also use this charged attack to quickly cover distance, which is good for making a quick escape or getting out of the storm.
