Wild Rift exclusive skins are coming to League of Legends

Since the release of Wild Rift, the game for mobile devices has received a large series of exclusive skins and now the Riot Games team has announced that many of them will arrive in batches to League of Legends.

The release of Wild Rift in 2020 completely shook up the gaming community. League of Legends. Not only did it bring new graphics and a lot of highly anticipated features, but it also brought exclusive skins with exclusive events.

League of Legends players complained a lot about it, and the Wild Rift development team announced that they had no plans to bring Wild Rift-exclusive skins to League of Legends.

The main problem between Wild Rift and League of Legends skins is that both games they share a completely different graphics engine. The one for Wild Rift was made from scratch with mobile devices in mind while the one for LoL has been running for more than ten years.

Therefore, porting skins from a newer engine to an older one is not an easy task. In other words, the textures and animations would have to be completely redone in order to adapt them to the League of Legends models.

Despite this, the team has risen to the challenge and Wild Rift skins will begin arriving on PC in batches. If everything goes well and there are no setbacks, the first batch will arrive in July. However, the developers they have underlined that the date could vary.

The first skins that would arrive would be those of Senna, Orianna and Seraphine guardians of the stars. Likewise, the highly anticipated skins of Xayah and Rakan Star Guardians Redeemed they would not arrive until 2024.

It should be noted that the latest skins were highly requested by the League of Legends community and many were speechless when they first arrived at Wild Rift. Therefore, knowing that we can finally see them on the PC Summoner’s Rift will be the joy of many.
