Wong will become head of SHIELD’s magic division

Strange made a deal with Death and, after completing his mission to help the entity recover souls that escaped its domain, it “released” him and Strange returned to the living, to the general happiness of fans.

Now Doctor Strange is about to receive his new series of solo comics, which will begin to be released monthly this coming Wednesday (22), and will be written by Jed McKay, the same writer of “The Death of Doctor Strange” It is “Strange”which told the story summarized in the paragraphs above.

But as in comics requests for new editions are made and released to the public months before they hit the newsstands, this week the fourth issue of the magazine had its cover and its synopsis officially released by Marvel:

Wong… Agent of WAND! Wong steps up to lead a new secret mystical unit in June!

The cover features Wong prominently, with the issue title saying “Wong, agent of WEND”. It turns out that WEND is the magical division of SHIELD, a division that had been “dead” for some time, as seen in “Strange #7”but which should start to recover in the next magazines.

Wong will not only be an agent of the secret magical division, but will also be its newest leader, thus giving even more development and importance to the character in the comics who, unlike the MCU, is not the Sorcerer Supreme and has been gaining a well deserved highlight in these last years.

Legacy interviewed legendary actor Laurence Fishburne!

We at Marvel Legacy are proud to share our first interview of 2023, which was quite simply with the iconic Laurence Fishburne! Yes, we interviewed Morpheus from the Matrix trilogy and so many other classics!
