Colombian Calvo and Barajas in parallel finals in Baku, Latin success in jumping

In the qualifying round, Calvo received a score of 14.733 and Barajas earned 14.566, placing them in fourth and fifth place. China’s Zou Jingyuan was the best with 15,766.

Escalera was third in the classification, with an average score of 13.233 between her two jumps. Navas finished sixth with 13.116 and Pinto finished seventh with 12.783.
