Walmart has revised its return policy for the end of the year and the beginning of 2024

Walmart announced the expansion of its return policy during the current holiday season in the United States. As always, retail giants adapt to the needs of their customers. What is this about? Here we tell you.

The largest store chain in the United States is now ready to make returns even more convenient in this phase of the end of the year and the beginning of the new year. One trend is that many times customers buy gifts for their friends and family and then decide to change the gift. At the same time, return policy plays an important role in that process.

More flexible return policy

Well, Walmart has announced that its return policy will be more flexible during this holiday season. As a general rule, products sold online and shipped by Walmart can be returned or exchanged by mail within 90 days of receipt, if available. The same applies to purchases made in physical stores.

During the current phase, most items purchased in stores or online from October 1 to December 31 can be returned immediately through January 31, 2024. In short, if you bought something in October you will have another month to return it.

To facilitate the return process, Walmart suggests that you keep the original packaging and any receipts. Additionally, the company allows you to save paper receipts and scan them with their application to avoid losing them.

The company has the option to track in-store purchases made using debit/credit cards. The same applies for online orders using a phone number or email.

Refunds to debit or credit cards without receipt take up to 10 days. Must show a government ID.

If we talk about refunds, you should know that if the value of the item is less than $10.00 USD, it will be done in cash. However, if you exceed that number you will receive a Walmart gift card.
